Time Warner Cable continues to provide its loyal subscribers and keeps up its image of being socially relevant and up-to-date by adding the “Black Cinema On Demand.” This is a new category that Time Warner Cable will add to its MOD or Movies On Demand selection.
Black Cinema On Demand will include the most inspiring stories and movies that feature the best and critically-acclaimed black actors and directors of our time. Some of the titles include: How Stella Got Her Groove Back, The Color Purple, and Amistad, a movie that has a universal appeal. Black Cinema On Demand will have selections from both classic and current films.
William Ortiz, Senior Director of Target Marketing for Time Warner Cable, explains that by celebrating The Black History Month, the company will always give the best entertainment for their customers. All movies are available on Movies On Demand and can be enjoyed by any user when ever they want. Movies can be ordered and can be watched instantly without the trouble of DVDs, waiting in line at the theatre or having to wait for a certain cable schedule.
Time Warner’s Movies On Demand are only available with Time Warner’s Digital Cable services. To have one in your own home, you need a Digital set-up box that you can rent from the company. Installation is quick and easy as long as you call the local Time Warner branch nearest you. Movies On Demand are also charged at a certain additional amount if you want that added in to your basic Time Warner Cable plan.
