Great news for Mediacom users!
Mediacom Communications, ranked as the 7th largest among the nation’s cable companies, had teamed up with NBC Universal to provide Mediacom customers with round-the-clock coverage of the much-awaited 2010 Winter Olympic Games to be held in Vancouver. NBC is known as America’s Olympic Network and has covered more Olympic games than ABC. With a record of covering 11 Olympic Games already, NBC will make the Vancouver Winter Olympics as its 12th.
With that, Mediacom’s customers will be part of the Olympic history.
The excitement will start on February 12 when NBC will cover the Opening Ceremony which will then be followed by more than 835 hours of Winter Olympic Games and programs.
The senior vice-president of Mediacom professed that the company is thrilled to be able to provide to its loyal customers the excitement and thrill of the Winter Olympics in various digital platforms: video-on-demand, cable broadband and, of course, high-definition TV.
HD coverage assures all viewers of crystal-clear and amazing coverage of amazing sports like snowboarding, curling and figure-skating. Meanwhile, On Demand users will be able to catch each breath-taking moment in the Winter Olympics with no additional fees at all. This is available with Mediacom’s On Demand Menu's Channel 1. Mediacom’s Cable Broadband users will also be part of the groundbreaking event with 400 hours of live event competition coverage.
Gaze in amazement and watch all the extensive highlights within the comforts of your own home.
Once again, Mediacom has proven to its customers that they made the right choice!
The 2010 Winter Olympics is a grand event that they will be part of in crystal-clear and sharp images.
