It's an age-old question and I'm afraid there is no good answer from a customer service perspective. So many of the cable operators sub-contract out their service calls so the service companies minimize their own expenses by maximizing the "delivery" routes of their customer service. Since they don't know how long they will be at any one call, they give you a very wide range for when they may get to your house and unfortunately, so many of our users tell us, they don't even make these four hour windows. Perhaps one day a cable company will try to differentiate themselves on service! Anybody know of one?
