Hi,

I just purchased Cox Premier, then the technical guy matched it with Surfboard modem that is DOCSIS 2.0. But I heard that I will get faster speed if I buy a DOCSIS 3.0? Has anyone of you tried this already? Did it work? I just wanted to make sure before I purchase.Thank's.

This is not a bad idea though..I mean if you do get a D3 modem soon……There will come a time that they will get a D3 and this can help even those who do not have existing D3 speed plans. This is due to the fact that the D3 modem will kind of “spreadout” bandwith to several channels. I know this because I did research on this one already
